Ant Prevention
These ants do not eat wood, instead they tear apart wood to make a shelter. They are not comparable to termites because they don’t create as much damage. Some carpenter ants have wings and can be seen in the late spring early summer. A colony of carpenter ants can be up to 3 to 4 thousand ants.
If you find one or many ants at a time this could be a sign of infestation. GAM Exterminating will eliminate carpenter ants.
